Summit Natural Gas of Maine sponsors over $60K to Community in 2015

August 19th, 2015

Summit Natural Gas of Maine is proud to announce its Community Sponsorship and Giving Program awardees for 2015. Each year Summit contributes to area organizations that positively impact students, businesses and families in the areas we serve. In being a good community neighbor, Summit is committed to contributing money each year to improving Maine life.

In 2015, Summit has awarded funds to organizations that work on various health, economic, and educational challenges in our community. In response to those challenges, Summit has funded organizations such as Lakewood Continuing Care residents for a trip to the coast, Junior Achievement of Maine to better equip Augusta area students for work readiness and financial literacy, the Homeless Shelter that is gearing up to extend its warming shelter hours in the winter, and the Maine International Film Festival that provides entertainment and culture to our community to name a few.

Summit continually works to bring value and quality of life to the Kennebec Valley, Falmouth, Cumberland, and Yarmouth areas and through our Community Sponsorship program strive to improve the quality of life in Maine.
